1 Year FunzSquare Warranty
We track warranty by serial numbers and warranty seals instead of receipts or warranty cards. Receipts and warranty cards are often misplaced by end users and thus leads to voiding of warranty. Our warranty scheme is designed to offer you genuine protection instead of exploiting your carelessness.
We have remained true to our warranty promises and dutifully serviced every console under warranty.
Easy to Understand
Most independent retailers create their own interpretation of warranty terms. For example, they will not cover accessories like PS4
chargers under warranty even though the original manufacturer, Sony will. Unlike our competitors, our warranty coverage is identical to the manufacturer. If the manufacturer has any lesser known clause, we highlight the term to the customer before sales. As we do not bundle the cost of warranty into our products (evident from our significantly lower price), warranty backed by FunzSquare usually costs a small fee. We call this our Full Warranty.
Agent warranty refers to warranty covered by the authorized agent. The bulk of warranty liability lies with the agent but we will offer limited coverage for our customers.
Testing on the spot
We now have a mandatory testing policy for all consoles. It would be better if you gave us the time to explain to you all the aspects of your brand new console. We will undertake a thorough test and that you bring home a 100% working set. We will not be giving any exchanges after the test has been successfully completed as warranty claims will now be direct with the agent.
Nintendo Switch Console Warranty
NINTENDO WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
This Warranty is valid only if the product has been in accordance with the instruction manual provided.
This warranty covers only the hardware and does not include in its scope any software or accessories purchased along with it.
The warranty is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase subject to the above conditions being fulfilled.
- Remote and Accessories are valid for a period of 3 months from the date of purchase.
- Remote(Nintendo Switch Joy-Con) purchase within the bundle or individual.
This warranty does not apply if the product has been opened or serviced at any non-Nintendo authorized service centre.
This warranty shall not apply if this product:
- Is used with products not sold or licensed by Nintendo (including, but not limited to, non-licensed game enhancement and copier devices, adapters, and power supplies);
- Is used for commercial purposes (including rental);
- Is modified or tampered with;
- Is damaged by negligence, accident, unreasonable use, or by other causes unrelated to defective materials or workmanship;
- Has had the serial number altered, defaced or removed. This warranty does not cover any consequential or incidental loss or damage arising from the use of the product.
This warranty does not cover any problems occurring due to electrical short circuits, gas leakages, fires, earthquakes, typhoons or any other natural or nuclear calamities or any problems due to seepage of water, any liquids or any kind of corrosion.
This warranty is valid in Singapore ONLY.
NOTE ON LCD TECHNOLOGY
High-precision technology is involved in manufacturing LCD screens; even so there may be some pixels that are always on and some that do not go on. This is not a defect, but the current state of art.
Since the upper and lower LCD screens are made to different specifications, they will seem to render colors slightly differently. This is not a defect and not a cause for concern.
FunzSquare Extended Warranty
First year warranty coverage by agent (Maxsoft). Subsequent 4 years of warranty coverage by us. Our warranty coverage terms are the same as the agent’s. Please note as the agent does not cover Joy-con controller for the full 1 year, Joy-con is excluded from extended warranty coverage. However, we will be willing to offer repairs at a cost for Joy-con should the need arise.
